Las Vegas Review JournalLAS VEGAS (AP) _ Authorities have called off an Amber Alert in their search for an abducted Nevada boy but aren't saying why. Nevada transportation officials canceled the alert for 6-year-old Cole Puffinburger on Saturday morning. They would not give details but planned an afternoon news conference.

This could be a good thing ... and it could be a bad thing .... all I know is with the arrest of Clem, I'm sure he gave info leading to Cole or to those who have Cole.

CNNLAS VEGAS, Nevada (CNN) -- Police on Saturday deactivated an Amber Alert for Cole Puffinburger, 6, who was abducted Wednesday from his Las Vegas, Nevada, home, according to Nevada's Amber Alert Web site. A nationwide Amber Alert for Cole Puffinburger, 6, of Las Vegas, Nevada, was lifted Saturday. No details were immediately available. Las Vegas police will hold a 5 p.m. ET press conference, the site said. Cole's father, Robert Puffinburger, told CNN he had not heard anything from police and was surprised to hear the Amber Alert had been deactivated.Late Friday, Cole's grandfather was arrested in Cole's kidnapping, which police say was drug-related. He was arrested in Riverside, California, and brought into custody.

well .. the way I see it ... It's a good thing AND a bad thing ...
Good = he hasn't been found dead ... if this were true then Rob would've heard from the police
Bad = Cole is still missing

From Fox News:The little boy is still missing, but the Las Vegas Police Department has deactivated a nation-wide Amber Alert for Puffinburger. But, FBI spokesman Joe Dickey said the boy has not been found.
He said Las Vegas police and the FBI "are not calling off the search."
Police would not give details on the deactivated alert.
