We have the extraordinary honor of hosting a member of Cole Puffinburger's family at BasementDwellers.

Generally, I don't mind the snark and pettiness--I'm just as likely to be snarky as anyone here. And y'all know I enjoy warped gallows humor as much as anyone.
BUT, in this forum, there will be a special set of rules, and these rules will be strictly enforced, starting as soon as this message appears in the forum.
1) A VICTIM of this kidnapping will be posting here. Treat this family member with sensitivity and respect.
2) BasementDwellers' purpose in this case is to get information out, create posters, act as a network to spread the word about Cole.
3) You certainly can postulate and hypothesize in here. Just remember when you do so that a member of Cole's family will read what you write.
This case is not like the Caylee Anthony case. Cole was taken by stranger. His family reported him missing immediately and they want him home now.
We have a great group of people here. I have no doubt that you will be considerate of Cole's family in this forum. However, moderators have been instructed to do whatever needs to be done to make this forum a peaceful place for Cole's family.
