ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Caylee Marie Anthony has been missing for 12 weeks now. On Tuesday her mother's legal teams said they could be one step closer to find the missing 3-year-old. And there are also now a permanent set of eyes on the Anthony's home. The Orange County Sheriffs office told neighbors Tuesday they installed a surveillance camera on Hopespring Drive. It’s on a light pole and gives a bird’s eye view of the Anthony home. The HOA president said he was told it will allow deputies to record activities in front of the Anthony’s home if there are any more problems. It will also let them know if and when they need to dispatch deputies to Hopespring Drive. The home has been the site of several confrontations between protestors, residents and the Anthony family. The homeowners association has tried unsuccessfully to get a court order banning people from the street outside the home. And County government is studying several ways to keep the peace while not infringing on protestors rights. www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=7598036&version=4&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.2.1

I was just going to post this ... I believe in one's right to protest in a respectable manner ... the rogue protesters do need to be picked up ... I am a bit surprised that FL is behind some other states ... in California, you cannot protest in a residential neighborhood.

OMG how much more of the taxpayers' money are they going to spend??? Then are they going to turn around and ask the fed for their own personal bailout? LOL -- but I do hope there's a link somewhere so we can all watch.

Since taxpayers are funding that camera then it should have total public access. It won't be long before a lawyer or newspaper petitions the court for access.

I think the county should be allowed financial compensation from the Anthony's if they make money out of this circus. Why should everyone have to pay to protect someone like Casey?

www.courttv.com/trials/peterson/090104_ctv.htmlI wouldn't believe that they put the camera there to monitor protesters. This is serveillance. They did the same thing to Scott Peterson right before it all came down. Better believe that whole family is under serveillance. By using the camera they can monitor the comings and goings of the family. LE is not going to tell the public why they are doing what they are doing, the installation of the camera has nothing to do with "helping" the Anthony's neighborhood keep the peace.

I agree......and besides.....it's probably costing less money not having to send the police there all the time. People are less apt to "misbehave."
