So let's just say....
Croslin needed to go outside an catch a smoke (cigarette, doobie, crack pipe) and she propped the back door open so she could hear the kids if they got out of bed while she smoked (cigarette, doobie, crack pipe), and the lighter didn't work, and knowing she didn't have another lighter she went a door or two up to a neighbors to get a lighter and maybe got into a little conversation with the neighbor and when she came back, the little girl was gone. Now that would be assuming someone knew there was a little girl in the house, and possibly where she was sleeping (but depending on how long Croslin might have been gone would have given the perp time to find the little girl). Some sicko could have seen the little girl in the yard playing and staked the place out to see the comings and goings of everyone to wait for the perfect opportunity.
Just a supposition here, cause I don't believe the story Croslin is telling.

That sounds like a definate possibility . What teenage 17 year old girl goes to bed a 10PM? And having a house to herself, it's party time also. She's not very bright, and the way her story is changing, it does sound like she wasn't home. If someone wants to come in and kidnapp a child, who puts on the kitchen light?? She's hiding something, and I have a bad feeling poor Haleigh isn't with us anymore. What gets me, is why is a 17 year old girl, a minor living with a 25 year old man?? I doubt she's in high school. Where are her parents? I think back to when I was 17, and dating someone over 18 was just too icky for me.

Yeah I have that feeling too, that Haleigh isn't alive.
When I was 17 I was living in my own apartment and had a newborn son. At that time I actually thought anyone over the age of 24 was "old" LOL I couldn't imagine myself even being that "old" LOL
